GALAXY & STARS Program
Our mission is to provide a safe, innovative and supervised environment which enhances personal growth and the character of Grinnell Youth.
Summer 2009

Welcome to the Galaxy Youth Center and STARS* summer programs page. Here you will find links to the registration packets for both programs, as well as schedule information and some of the cool activities we will be doing this summer. Check back as we will continue to update and add information about all the great opportunities available to participating youth.

Thursday, April 23 from 5-7pm the Galaxy will hold an open house at our downtown location so parents can register their youth for both the Galaxy Youth Center (5-8 grade) and STARS* (k-4 grade) programs. If you cannot make it to the open house please click on the link below to print the registration packet for the program your youth will attend. Please feel free to contact Shannon McNaul or Jared Breeden at the Galaxy (641-236-7235) with any questions or if you would like to tour our space at a different time.

Thanks to a grant received by the Grinnell-Newburg School District, all youth in our programs will have free breakfast and lunch available to them each day from June 1st through July 31st at Davis Elementary. Both programs will have lunch daily, and breakfast will be available from 8-9am for the STARS* program, and any Galaxy youth that wishes may go to Davis for breakfast before coming to the Galaxy when it opens at 9am.
